Don’t you want to know Him, more than just a “High how are You”?
Make each day, a different way that you can show Him how you want to know Him, and love Him more.
Some
of us have a “High, how are you” relationship with God. Some have a
deep intimate relationship with Him. The kind where you walk, and talk
with Him every day, and take Him everywhere you go. The kind of
relationship we all want from someone who says they love us.
The
depth of your relationship with God is your choice. He won’t make you
do anything you choose not to. But you have to ask yourself, “how is my
life going with what I choose to have, and believe about God?”
Ephesians 3:16…
“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be
strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.” If you
feel weak, it’s not because you suffer from lack of available power.
Where are you with Him? Is it casual, or deep? The power of God that
created the universe, and raised Jesus from the dead, is available to us
at every moment of our day, through believing prayer.
I
can’t deny that I shared the common ground with doubting Thomas, in
disbelief. Not that I didn’t believe Jesus was who He said He was, but
why was I always sinking with every storm. The answer came to me,
through Gods word, from my head, straight to my heart. Acts 3:19
“Repent then, and turn to God…that times of refreshing may come from the
Lord.” I began to trust God with the life He gave me, and had for me.
Praying, and believing He had the BEST for me.
Now
anything that comes my way to try and destroy me, I just go deeper.
Seeking Him for all the answers. No more surface relationship, but
diving deeper.
Think about this. How did Jesus face the cross with such courage, while the disciples “all forsook Him and fled” Mark 14:50
The garden of Gethsemane holds the answer for us. As the disciples
slept, Jesus prayed. The disciples gave into weakness of their bodies,
Jesus was drawing strength by obeying the will of God.
My
prayer for us all, is that we really want to know God with all our
heart, mind, and soul. No more camping on the porch of indecision. No
more sleeping under stars of apathy.
Go
deep, and experience a God “who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly,
“above ALL” that we ask or think, according to the power that works in
us.”
You’ve done it your way long enough. Go to Jesus, and BELIEVE!
Grace and peace to you
Kim
