What faith can do Nahum 1:3

It’s so hard to understand the storms that can come into our lives. No matter how close, or how far you are from God, they will come. I choose to be very close to God, and cling to His word knowing… Nahum 1:3 “His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.”

You know the old saying, “April showers, bring May flowers.” Well I try to look at everything that causes me pain, something beautiful is going to spring up.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see. Verse 6 “Without faith, it is impossible to please God”…

The word of God is seeds to life, joy, peace, happiness. He is our “present help in times of trouble” Psalm 46:1. Even though you don’t see it,  because you feel like your troubles are just piled over you, He promises to bring you through it. Psalm 32:7-8. God is growing us in every area of our life that seems so dark. His word is the seed that will spring up if you are seeking Him.

You plant seeds, and pile the dirt over it. Then you water it day after day, to see if the beautiful flowers will someday break through the dirt. It takes faith to know you will see them in time. You take loving care of fertilizing them, and watering them. So does God take care of us, even though we feel like we are never going to come up out of the darkness, we will! Just like the flowers.

John 1:9 “The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.” So step out of the darkness, and into the light1Peter 2:9..

See what faith can do, even when the sky seems like it’s falling.  God’s right there…. “dust from His feet”

I’ve seen what faith can do, but it comes in storms, and clouds of life.

Grace and peace to you
Kim
