What it means to love... Psalm 34:8

Psalm 34:8 - “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”

How can I go back to life as usual? How can I return to who I once was?

Once Jesus shows you love, you want to live it loud enough so everyone can see a difference.

1 Peter 2:2… “now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.”  I remember what life was to be without that “Love relationship” with Jesus, and I know what it is to have it now. Not that life doesn’t have its continuous challenges, and trials, because it does, but you are NOT alone anymore. His promises are true in His word.

But how would you know that, if you’re not in it? In His word, and in a personal relationship with your creator, and Savior. Like a baby needs milk to grow up healthy, and then to solid foods, so do we spiritually. You can’t grow up if your letting someone spoon feed you through this life. You have to pick up that spoon, and feed yourself. It has to become personal, because you will one day, be held personally responsible with what you do with Jesus.

How strong is your desire for God’s word? Don’t you want to grow to know Him more? Once you see your need for Him, and His word, and begin to find nourishment in Christ (fully satisfied) Your appetite for Him will increase, and you begin to grow up. You don’t want to go back to who you were.

Psalm 34:4-5… “I sought the Lord, and He answered me, He delivered me from “ALL,” my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant.”

When Jesus begins to deliver you from your fears, worries, stress, you truly do begin to look different, and people begin to ask you, “what’s different about you?” Then you have your story to take to the world, and glorify the “ONE” who you asked to come into your life, and fill all your emptiness, and change you.

Taste, and digest….take His story to everyone J

Grace and peace to you
