I have seen the healing hand of God in my own
family, also in some of my friends; some of them were near death, but
made it through for another chance at life. The sad thing is some went
back to the same habits that got them sick. Addictions is a horrible
sickness, and I pray that God will help them be free from whatever their
addictions may be that is destroying their physical, and spiritual
health. Galatians 6:8, “A man reaps what he sows. The one who
sows to please his sinful nature, from that sinful nature will reap
destruction. The one who sows to please the spirit, from the Spirit will
reap eternal life.”
We
shouldn’t need a substance to make us feel good. Alcohol, drugs,
pornography, and many other things that Satan knows will destroy you,
and your families, and your growth with Jesus. Ephesians 4:27, “Do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing, must steal
no longer.” He robs us of real joy, and real pleasure that only comes in
a relationship with Jesus...
Jesus
doesn’t perform healing miracles so we can go back to the way you were. He does them so you could use your life as a testimony for others, and
Glorify His name.
Psalm 103: 1-13, How
gracious, abounding in love, compassionate, and slow to anger our lord
is. I remember my husband going through cancer, and I prayed this Psalm.
I hope it will help any of you who may be praying for a loved one
physically and spiritually. God’s word brings so much peace.
Never give up hope, or praying.
“Is anything to hard for the Lord?” Genesis 18:14
Grace and peace to you
Kim
