God is so good…I needed this personally. Hope it helps you.
I
love spending time with Jesus every day. Isn’t that what a love
relationship is all about? Also on Sunday with the church family. Jesus
loved the church, and we are called to be, “Shepherds of the church of
God…” Acts 21:28. He left us here to be a light to our world, to reflect Him, not be the same anymore.
People
should be able to look our way and see something different. The way we
treat people, the places we allow ourselves to go, how we raise our
children, and our marriages should testify to the love of Christ. Jesus
is a relationship, not religion.
God
wants us to be open and honest with Him. He loves us no matter where
we’ve been. He want us to turn from the things that break His heart, and
will cause us harm. James 1: 27, “keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
We
should also be able to be open with the ones we love, and talk with
them about the things that break our hearts, and is hurting our
relationship. Unfortunately, even those we love, and they come to church
every Sunday, they have a warped view of a relationship with Jesus.
That’s why they are never completely satisfied within themselves, and
can act like fools, making excuses for the things they do, and places
they go - Proverbs 14:9 - Proverbs 13:18. Sometimes they even say hurtful things like “your boring.” Remember it’s not you!! They just don’t understand: John 8 : 27-29.
Some stay in a luke warm relationship with Jesus and think it’s o.k, Revelations 3:15 - Luke 6:46. “Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and not do what I say?” I don’t think
God takes lightly the Grace and Mercy that He has given us. It’s not
just showing up at church. Church doesn’t save you, Jesus does!
I
f you are in a marriage that seems like there’s no light at the end of
that dark tunnel. Just continue to be all that Jesus wants to be through
you. You might be the only light that person sees… John 8:12. Remember it’s all about Jesus!
Be that instrument to the living God, and raise your anthem high! Selah
Remember, Jesus loves spending time with you, and you are NEVER boring to Him.
Grace and peace to you
Kim
