Jesus..."Friend of Sinners" Oh God open our eyes, and hearts....

Church…..Listen to this…. Great video …by pastor, and singer of “ Casting Crowns”

The world is on their way to Jesus, but they are tripping over us who are pointing our fingers, and think we are better. Never forget where you came from,(sin, saved by grace) The only difference between us and them is, we opened our hearts to Jesus. We are all sinners, saved by grace alone. Galations2:20-21 “I do not frustrate the grace of God… if holiness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”    Let us never forget, we are “among the least of these.” Matthew 25:40
If we think we are all not guilty of pointing our fingers, we are kidding ourselves. If not with gossip, or our actions, it’s in our thoughts, and to Jesus we might as well say it. He knows ALL our thoughts, and looks into our hearts. I’m so glad He sees, and knows, and lives in my heart, or I would be doomed.
At the end of time, God is not going to honor anyone but Christ. We are going to slip up. The feast of the marriage supper will be to honor Jesus, not us. He will show us the riches of grace, not our works, Ephesians 2:8-9. No one will be boasting about the things they did. We will all be at His feet, worshipping Him, and casting our crowns.
My personal experience of what happened to me as I was growing (and still growing) in Christ, is one that could turn some people away. Years back I was weight training someone from my church, who saw I had a belly button ring and said, “Oh Kim, I thought more of you than that.” My response was, “there may by a hole in my belly button, but my heart is whole for Jesus.” They never came back for another session, to really get to know me. I have been guilty of the same thing, so I didn’t get mad at him. I knew my war is against the devil, not people. He’s good at even using church people to do his dirty work.
I know a few people personally who have most of their arms tattooed. Now if I didn’t take the time to get to know them, I wouldn’t have seen that their tattoos tell a story of who Jesus is to them. Now since everything in our lives has a purpose, and is willed by God, you think just maybe, God put that persons hearts story on their arms. (Selah)
Take the time to get to know someone, long hair, pierced, tattooed, homeless, whatever and whoever, however they are dressed, Jesus wants them! What breaks Jesus heart, I pray breaks ours.
John 8:7 “He without sin, cast the first stone”…
I pray we cross over the line, and let the stones fall from our hands, and love like Jesus did. Remembering, He reached for the outcast, the lost cause, the leper and the lame,  the sinners just like me.
Grace and peace to you
Kim
