As a parent, you never stop praying for your
children. They truly are a gift from God. Oh, how we wish we could be
their everything. To be able to give them all the things they need. We
have to teach them about the ONE who does, from the time they are small.
That is our thanks to God for His precious gift of children.
Isaiah 58:11… Jesus will guide them always. God’s word says it from the old testament to the new; He NEVER changes.
The prayer I always prayed for my children, was that they would make their heart His home…Ezekiel 36:26-27. I’ve prayed for my kids since they were small. Praise God, they both
made the choice for Christ in their lives. Yes, they’ve made mistakes,
and still do, but they are growing, and becoming more grounded in their
faith, and walk with God, (aren’t we all).
From
the time they are born, they are watching, and learning. Let your kids
see you spending time with God. Show them how important He is to you.
We
need to trust God with them, and what we taught them from His word.
Especially when it comes to them looking for that love of their life… Genesis 2:24.
I know it’s hard, but we do have to let them go, and grow, and make
mistakes. It will break our hearts sometimes, the choices they will
make. They grow up, and look, and long, for that True Love. Someone who
really lets them know, and feel, what they’re worth. I pray as parents we did the best we could to show them that through our love, and
example. We make mistakes, but the ONE you point them to doesn’t. He
paid for our worth. He’s the only one who could show any of us what we
are worth. He did, He died for us all...
1 Corinthians 15:3, “Christ died for our sins.”
Yes, we all want to be our children’s everything, but so does “HE.” “Jesus is the one they need!!!”
Grace and peace to you
Kim
